Dr. Dominik Vorholt von Schimonsky

Dr. Dominik Vorholt von Schimonsky has served as Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Public Affairs since May 2026. Together with his team, he advises clients on navigating complex political and regulatory environments, develops strategic public affairs recommendations, and supports the implementation of advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Vorholt has held a range of positions at the heart of Berlin’s political landscape, including serving as Chief of Staff in the German Bundestag, holding senior leadership roles at several strategy consultancies, and most recently working in the Europe Directorate of the Federal Foreign Office.

He earned his doctorate from the University of Potsdam in 2018 with a dissertation on political interest intermediation. From 2020 to 2024, he lectured on political interest representation at the Universities of Osnabrück and Münster.
